1998
Australian Native Products pioneered the commercial farming of Australian native botanicals in 1998 with a small plantation in The Channon, a region that sits on the edge of the state’s best preserved rainforest environments, with rolling hills and picturesque valleys leading towards Byron Bay’s iconic beach.
ANP began by predominantly supplying lemon and anise myrtle within the local area and to a number of interstate customers, before breaking into the international market.
The popularity of lemon and anise myrtle continues to grow, both domestically and internationally, as more businesses and consumers discover their pleasant scents and refreshing tastes, as well as their versatility and endless applications.
